Distributing School Uniforms and School Shoes to SMK ChanWa Students

Objective : To provide school necessities to the poor students to encourage them in studies.

Our leo club had joined with the lions club to distributed school uniforms and school shoes to SMK Chanwa students. We gave them numbers to queue up for their turns. We also checked their names according to the list given before distributing the uniforms and shoes. After that, we ticked the names which had already taken their uniforms.

Lion 19th Anniversary and Charity Dinner 2011

Our Leo Club had attend the 19th Anniversary and Charity Dinner 2011 which was organized by the Lions Club of Seremban Central. Before the dinner starts, we sold the lucky draw tickets for charity. We manage to collect RM580.00 by selling tickets. The event started with the arrival of Dignitaries, guest of honour and our District Governor. The President of the Lions Club of Seremban Central gave speech and followes by performances. Then, the event continued with the installation of new lion members. Next was the lucky draw session. The event ended with photography session.

Peace Poster Contest 2011

Objective : To encourage younger generation to think and creatively express their thoughts through arts.


Our Leo Club had helped out in the Peace Poster Contest 2011 organized by the Lions Club of Seremban Central. Before the event starts, we helped to put on the partition to separate different categories. Then, we guided the contestant to register in the right place. After that, we guided all the contestant to the respective categories. We gave out goodie bags to each contestant. During the contest, we also gave guidance to those who were having problems. After the contest ended, we collected their art and also helped some contestant to clean up the place. The event continued with the arrival of guest of honour, Dato' N Logendran and followed by the speech given by Lion Mona Chin. The event was launched by releasing 25 pigeons. We had a short refreshment session. While waiting for the results, there were performance held out to entertained the contestant. After the results were announced, we had photography session with lions and the winners. Then, we cleaned the Concourse Area together before we left.

Charity Food Packing

Venue : Chi Wa Primary School, Temiang

The Lions and Leos arrived around 2.55p.m in the afternoon in Chi Wa primary school. We was divided into groups and started to pack the food which was provided earlier for about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Around 3000 packets of food were packed on the particular day due to the full co-operation from every charity members present on that day.Through this event, we get to know other charity club members well and also learn to applied our full co-operation during a project.

International Understanding Night (I.U. Night)

Leo Club of SMK Puteri, Seremban was invited and had participated in the event International  Understanding Night (I.U.Night) with the theme “Supernatural” which organized by Chan Wa school’s Interact Club.

The event stared around 6.00p.m National Anthem was played followed by the Interact song. Next, was the opening address from the key officers followed by performances.   Besides that, Chan Wa Band Performance also did their presentation in the I.U. Night event. Later on was a short while rest for refreshment. The event was then continued by the Chan Wa Twenty-four Seasonal Drum drummer and a few dance performance. The event ended roughly at 9.45p.m
